Delete your account

You can delete your BitaPic account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your information.

From the app

1. Open BitaPic and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Edit account to open My account.
3. At the bottom, tap Delete account…, enter your password and tap Delete my account.

From the web dashboard

1. Sign in at app.bitapic.com.
2. Open My account (your name, at the bottom of the menu).
3. Click Delete account…, enter your password and click Delete my account.

If you can't sign in

Write to support@bitapic.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm that the account is yours and process the request within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

• Deleted right away: your sign-in and your access to BitaPic on every device, and the phone registrations used to send you notifications.
• Kept by your company: the photos, hours and work records you created belong to the company you work for, which may be required by law to keep them (for example, time and payroll records). Your company is notified when you delete your account, and decides what to do with those records. We delete them as your company instructs, and otherwise within 30 days after your company’s account ends.
• We may keep limited information where the law requires it, to resolve disputes or to prevent fraud.

Company administrators

If you are the only administrator of your company, make someone else an administrator first, or write to support@bitapic.com to delete your company’s account. Deleting a company’s account cancels its subscription and deletes all of its data.
